Learn DEFINITE&INDEFINITE ARTICLES while having FUN!!

Fun with Definite & Indefinite Articles! GOOD EVENING my dearest readers! Teaching grammar doesn’t have to be boring 🦄. That’s why my dearest friends Evrim, Sema, and I created a fun flipped classroom video about definite and indefinite articles. With Canva for visuals and CapCut for editing, we made learning about “a,” “an,” and “the” simple, clear, and (dare we say) exciting 🌟. In case you’re new to the flipped classroom idea, here’s the deal: students watch a video lesson at home and use class time for practice and discussion. It’s interactive, effective, and a little unconventional 🔄 -just the way we like it. Our video breaks down the grammar rules with clear examples and cute touch. Think learning, but with a twist of fun Want to see for yourself? Crafting Corpus Chaos: Teaching Possessive Adjectives with a Twist!

Image
HELLO MY ELT PARTNER! Guess what? My team and I have just completed a mission to create a corpus-based teaching material and a lesson plan that aligns with the ASSURE model. Sounds fancy, right?💥 Our assignment was to design a material for high school EFL learners in Turkey. The thing about grammar? Possessive adjectives are those tiny words that add a personal touch to sentences, such as "my," "your," and "their." The twist is that the content required some teacher assistance and corpus use, which essentially involves students looking at real-life language samples. However, the teachers receive a road plan to assist students in managing the process without falling into a tech-related labyrinth. Oh, and we were required to work in three-person groups. So, bring on the crazy WhatsApp conversations and brainstorming sessions powered by coffee! ☕ Making the material taught us how to use real-world examples to make language enjoyable, or at least acceptable....
